SpeakDaily (“the App”) is an English language learning application developed for Android. This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the App and describes our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information.
By using SpeakDaily, you agree to the terms described in this policy.

SpeakDaily is designed to work with minimal data collection. Here is exactly what is stored:
Stored locally on your device only:
Your selected interface language (e.g. French, Spanish)
Your learning progress (phrases learned, current session position)
Your favorite phrases
Your preferred difficulty level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced)
Whether onboarding has been completed
âś… None of this data is transmitted to any server. It stays on your device at all times.
Cached audio files:
The App downloads MP3 audio files from Firebase Storage (Google Cloud) the first time you hear a phrase. These files are cached locally to avoid repeated downloads. No personal data is associated with these requests beyond your device’s IP address, which is handled by Google’s standard infrastructure.

Your name, email address, or any account credentials
Your location or GPS data
Your contacts or calendar
Your device files or photos
Your microphone input or voice recordings
Behavioral analytics or usage tracking
Crash reports or diagnostic data (beyond what Google Play collects)
âś… SpeakDaily does not require you to create an account. No login, no sign-up, no email.
đź”— 4. Third-Party Services
SpeakDaily uses the following third-party services:
Firebase Storage (Google LLC) Used to host and deliver audio files. When your device downloads an audio file, Google’s servers process a standard HTTP request including your IP address. This is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
Google AdMob (Google LLC) The free version of SpeakDaily displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use data to serve personalized ads, including a device advertising identifier. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings under Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization. See Google’s Ads Policy.
Google Play Services The App is distributed via Google Play. Google Play may collect installation and update statistics as part of its standard developer reporting. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
👶 5. Children’s Privacy
SpeakDaily is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will delete such information promptly.

Since all user data is stored locally on your device using Android’s SharedPreferences and SQLite database, your data is protected by your device’s built-in security (screen lock, encryption). We do not transmit personal data to external servers.

You have full control over your data at all times:
Delete all data: Uninstall the App — all locally stored data is removed automatically
Reset progress: Use the Reset option in the App settings
Opt out of ads: Via your device's Google settings
Access your data: Your data is stored locally; you can view it at any time within the App

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
